Mangalitza - Curly Coated Rare Breed Pigs

 

 I have 2 pure bred colours of Mangalitza Boars available for "Hire" being maintained on my farm.

I also have 2 which are a mix of Blonde and Red, and Swallow Bellied and Blonde.

All are being kept on a GM Free diet - GM Free Pig Nuts and Fresh Fruit and Vegetables.

They are being kept free range - with traditional pig arks to keep them warm and dry.

 

The Pigs -

Paradise Wonder 3 - YAD/5 - R0000042MG - This guy was born on the 16th of July 2006, he is from the first generation of Swallow Bellied Mangalitzas. His Father is Paradise Wonder (VEGH 1119) -Also for hire & His Mother is Paradise Delight 2 (VEGH 1503)

Paradise Curly 2 - YAD/6 - R000041MG - This guy was born on the 24th of July 2006, he is from the first generation of Blonde Mangalitzas. His Father is Paradise Curly (VEGH 1744) & His Mother is Paradise Princess 2 (VEGH 1740)

The services we can provide are :

Boar Hire - we will loan you one of our pedigree mangalitza boars for periods of 6 weeks (subject to availability) - Or You can bring your Sow/gilt to us for 6 weeks.

In order to take advantage of this service you will need to agree to:

  • Taking good care of my boar whilst in your care
  • Observing movement restriction rules as detailed by current DEFRA rules
  • Feeding a vegetarian GM free diet
  • either a pick of the litter or payment for the boars services
  • Birth Notify the Litter to the BPA If a pick of the litter option is taken
