second Wednesday of the month in the Ad Lib Library building in Drury
Lane, starting at 7.30 pm.

550 years ago Richard, Duke of York was killed at the battle of
Wakefield. Seventeen years later his son, now Edward IV, arranged a
sumptuous funeral procession from Pontefract to Fotheringhay. This
talk explores the turbulent history of those years and of the 100 mile
route of the procession.

members of either organisation
and their guests. A coach will be
available at a cost of £l2.00 per person for all the full day events.
