Johnny Curtiss performs as Roy Orbison during In Dreams, recreating classic hits such as Only The Lonely, Pretty Woman, In Dreams and It’s Over. Before recreating the voice and persona of The Big ‘O’, Johnny was lead vocalist with pop sensation ‘Gidea Park’ where he rubbed shoulders with Phil Collins and Sheena Easton as their hit Beach Boys Gold stormed up the charts and earned them a slot on Top Of The Pops. More recently, Johnny has toured with Rockin’ On Heaven’s Door.
The similarities between Tim Harwood and Buddy Holly are truly remarkable. So it doesn’t seem that astounding that he can also deliver a stunningly accurate impersonation of the rock ‘n’ roll legend through hits like It Doesn’t Matter Anymore, Rave On and Peggy Sue.
From the horned- rim glasses and the legendary Stratocaster guitar, right through to the genuinely cut, tailor made Holly suits, Tim has certainly done his homework. He even moves like Buddy., The crowd love Tim and are up dancing in the aisles before he even finishes his first song. The energy generated on stage by Tim and the band is absolutely electric..
