Bahía de Vera
Is it for you?   Bahía de Vera offers a simple quiet time. Some owners are residents and the renting out of apartments is limited.
Dress Code    Nude within and around the complex, obligatory in the pools and on the naturist section of the beach. A good introduction if unsure about it.
Facilities         2 swimming pools one outdoor, and one indoor heated by solar panels.
Sports court (Miniten? Volleyball), petanque, children’s play area.
An aquapark is 5 minutes walk away but only in high season (June to September)
Location          The beach is about 150 m away with almost 1 km of sand allowing an ample stroll in the nude. Surrounded by the naturist zone, nudity is not restricted to the Bahía complex. You can shop, eat and drink and go to the beach without clothes. It is a five minutes walk to Vera Playa Club Hotel.
                        Further afield there are several golf courses (up to ½ hour), spaghetti western theme parks (1 hour), Granada for the Alhambra (2 hours), Sierra Nevada for skiing (3 hours), and much more.
Weather          Reputed to have 322 sunny days per year. Temperatures can reach 40° C in August and you can sunbathe in the winter.
Airports          ALMERÍA is the nearest with no-frills flights from several UK airports, about an hour by car.
MURCIA is the next closest, about 2 hours drive.
ALICANTE is about 2½ hour’s drive, and the best served from UK local airports.
Shops              There is a good supermarket (Consum) 5 minutes walk away and another 2 km away (Coviran). There are some shops outside Vera Playa hotel open in the summer. Garrucha, Vera and Mojácar all have a good selection of shops.
Restaurants    Several within walking distance, including an oriental buffet above
& Bars             Consum. There is a much larger selection in Garrucha and Mojácar. There are some small bars in the naturist zone or on the beach, and more located in the road leading to the Vera Playa Club Hotel.
