Scorpions got off to a flyer thanks to 2 goals in as many minutes early in the first half. Jack Morris supplied a lovely through ball for James Dolton to score the 1st, and the roles were reversed when James squared for Jack to add the 2nd. That's the way it stayed until half time, and then straight after the interval Ben ward added what seemed to be the crucial goal. However Ombersley fought hard, their heads never droopped and they put the Scorpions under pressure and brought the score back to 3-2. However Captain Dylan Barnes rifled in the 4th, and Michael Hall completed the scoring by running onto a lovely through ball and firing home.

All in all a great performance by the Scorpions, and the season bodes well if they can keep up this level of performance.
