Goal scorers:- 2 James Wood , Joseph Kealey , Jai Gilchrist, Andrew Murphy, Kieran Burns Sharks maintained their 100 % start to the season with a convincing 6-0 away win over Enville. The Sharks started off on the front foot winning every fifty fifty challenge and took the lead from a deflected shot by JJ Kealey. James Wood's then gave the Enville defence a torrid time and scored 2 quick goals to cement the Sharks deserved lead. Jai Gilchrist put the finishing touches to a good move just before the half time break. The second half started with a threatening Enville attack which was deflected for a corner. After this the Sharks pushed back the Enville team to the extent that they hardly got out of their own half for the next 30 minutes. Despite the Sharks completely dominating only 2 more goals were scored by Kieran Burns and a well taken effort by Andrew Murphy. The Sharks made several chances with the impressive Enville keeper having a superb game. He saved at least 4 one on ones and also a penalty which was struck well by Liam Dayus but just too close to the keeper. A steady performance by the Sharks but again chances missed will at some point in the season cause the Sharks a problem. The Sharks will have to work on putting teams they dominate to bed and also not taking these teams lightly.
