WVFC Tigers victorious in the Hallowean Friendly against the WVFC Lions U11's in a contest between Division One Mercian League Tigers and Division One Stourport League Lions 2 - 1........Parent's Pick of Man of the Match Richard Burman for an inspired second half goal keeping performance.
 
0 - 1 Louis Bourke opening the scoring for the Lions finishing a well worked move giving Hayden Lewis no chance in stopping the scoring shot.
 
HT 0 - 1 The Lions shaded the first half on play as the Tigers resumed their general pattern of play Season to date in working their way slowly into matches, the Tigers showed better passing and movement in the final quarter hour of the half.
 
1 - 1 Thomas Brown made honours even finishing a well worked move
 
2 - 1 Cameron Pinches scored the winning effort deflected in from distance with a powerful shot from distance to cap off a good performance in the second half
 
The Tigers full ten man squad enjoyed a meaningful work out against an always competitve Lions outfit buoyed from their recent draw against their Stourport League One competitors WVFC Pirananhas, the Lions edged the play on first half but saw the Tigers respond well to Jason Browns half time talk which saw the majority of the play with the Tigers dictating.
 
A good game played competitvely and back to the League programme next week.
