Beavers
won Warndon Villages first ever competitive league match
8-0 away to Kempsey with Oliver McGrath having the
honour of scoring our first league goal. The Beavers
eventually finishing a creditable 3rd in their first
season.
The
Hares despite never being beaten heavily were relegated
to Division 2.
SEASON
2001 -2002
Out
of the development centre 2 teams were created in
readiness for entry into the Mercian League.
They
were called Warndon Villages Beavers / Warndon Villages
Hares. Both teams played in tournaments and friendly
matches in preparation for the coming season.
