| Prepare yourself for a glorious evening of vibrant dance! Since their debut Les Fifis Farfelues have performed all over Europe. Their dance is a thrilling, eye-popping, high energy spectacular, with high kicks and flying splits. The girls wear sumptuous satin dresses with black lace, white frilly petticoats, bloomers, stockings, black-laced boots and glorious ostrich feathers. Flamenco dance troupes Mezcla and Zimali join forces to bring authentic and high quality Flamenco. Live music filled with colour and sound will be created by three guitarists, two dancers and a singer. Afro Cuban music has many influences; African slaves came to Cuba bringing their traditional songs, dancing and rhythms This mixed together with the Spanish, French and native people of Cuba. Jose Ferrera and Afrocan play many of these traditional rhythms and dance using the afro Cuban traditional instruments such as Bata drums, conga, Chequere, Campana, clave and many more.
