Lymm Baci Netball Club
   
Lymm Baci Netball Club (formerly known as 'Lymm Ladies'), has been established for 8 years. For the past 3 years we have been sponsored by the local Italian restaurant 'Trattoria Baci' - (pronounced Batch-ee, and located at 18, The Cross, Lymm). Embarrassingly, it is rumoured that the waiters have a 'pin-up' of the club in the kitchen!
   
Our club, which plays in navy blue and cerise, regularly trains at the local Ravenbank Primary School on Sunday mornings (weather permitting). We have strong links with the school, having helped with netball training, matches, tournaments and award schemes. Once, the year 6 team was invited to watch one of our matches. This boosted the supporters club by 700%!

Our club has a very good social side and even has a person dedicated to ensuring we enjoy ourselves!. We go on an annual pilgrimage to Pontins in Prestatyn for a National Netball Tournament. There we have to brave the elements, train hard and try to win all our games after having to endure a long hard night at the disco! One year the team reached the semi-finals and lost only after extra-extra time and the sudden goal rule.The team currently plays in WDNL Division 3 in the Winter season and WDNL Division 4 in the Summer.

The club has several fund-raising events and we buy a lottery ticket each week in the hope that we can recruit an international coach who will turn us all into super stars!
