Treated myself to one of your scarves on a trip up north - it's an absolute delight! Just lovely!

Mandy - 2006-11-12 19:01:06

Great site, great fashions, so go girl - your the tops!

Pattie Headley - 2006-11-12 18:59:44

Oh Judy, I'm such a big fan of your designs - why, oh why, oh why, have you deserted Knitting Magazine?

Yours were always simply the best designs and very few of the others hold much of a candle to your eye for a trend. I mean, I may BE 40, but I don't want to be knitting things that would'nt look out of place in 1940!

Please tell me your absence is only temporary (or otherwise where you ARE publishing your stuff). I know I'm not alone in needing my regular Furlong "fix" - even if I don't always knit them up.

A beautiful piece of work and one I shall treasure - thank you.

Carys Pengwillan - 2006-10-29 10:38:09

Thanks Judy - you made our knitting week!

Nothing ever happens here - or anywhere near here - so a big "thankyou" from us band of frustrated knitters, for letting us be able to take part too.

Your free pattern meant we felt alot less excluded than normal - and not so forgotten.
Big thanks!

Caroline Rice - 2006-10-21 07:25:02

Marjorie Welbeck - 2006-10-20 08:55:11

Back as promised - lovely new free dress pattern; very up-to-the minute fashion sense (and that is one thing Knitting magazine certainly isn't always!)

Not the thing for me, but my daughter is really excited about it and is trying to make it in time for Xmas parties, so she has her needles in hand as we speak.

A big thank you from her and me!

Nicola - 2006-10-16 06:59:31

Sophie Winstay - 2006-07-16 09:36:18

Love your work and ive just found this site and had a lovely time downloading your freebies (thank you). Its so nice to get real worthwhile pattrens rather than just a scarf (yawn) for once!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking for information and found it at this great site...

Mary Seneer - 2006-05-24 12:18:32

You really do produce some beautiful things. I knew about the knitting designs, of course, (and it is an absolute joy to see your designs back again) but I had no idea you made so many other wonderful things. Little wonder the Americans seem so keen to recruit you!

Please keep up the lovely patterns for the
UK knitting world - we do need great and talented designers like you (and sadly, many who have jumped on this particular band-waggon are not!).

Lorrie Harmon - 2006-05-21 18:05:24

Just got around to opening my copy of the mag - and yey, there was your latest! Oh wow how lovely! Needles at the ready or wot?

Lynn Williams - 2006-05-11 18:25:30

Great to see your designs back in "Knitting"; you've been sadly missed.

Ida Greenbaume - 2006-05-10 01:44:44

Judy, I've just been given one of your tartan stoles (Flower of Scotland) as a present by a friend who just flew back from Scotland . It is just so beautiful and I wanted to say thank you for producing such a lovely thing. It really made my day!
God bless you!

Lottie Naish - 2006-05-10 01:39:38

Wow! what a lovely pair of designs. It's great to see you back in "Knitting" - you really have been sadly missed!!!! Can't imagine WHY they let you miss issues - your stuff is simply the best by miles!!!!!!

Mariah Eirlish - 2006-05-08 02:40:34

Just got the latest Knitting issue and wow! those two designs are just sooo HOT!

Sarah Williams - 2006-04-05 11:37:26

Hey Judy.
I've just finished the luckenbooth hat and wow! its brilliant and i love it SOOO much! I'm gonna have a go at the whole sweater now-my first really serious project-so wish me luck!!!
I was a bit scared of the brooch logo bit, but the hat came out so well that i thought -yea, here gos!!!so like i said wish me luck!!

Betty Hall - 2006-04-03 11:26:04

Hello again Judy.
I agree with all of the latest commentators here; actually I was so angry about the silly dumbed-down way Knitting magazine seems to be going that I wrote to them to complain (which isn't actually like me!).
Interesting reply too - I'll send it on privately.
Keep up the good work - and delighted to hear that you'll be back in force in Knitting in the near future.
All the best, Betty

Anne-Marie - 2006-04-03 01:15:51

Hi Judy - luv the site and all the knitting designs!!! Your a busy girl with all the weaving too!!! FANTASTIC - and the article is just brill.

Amie Borgeur - 2006-04-02 18:15:08

What - no Furlong in Knitting???? What is the world coming to? PLEASE PLEASE let's have more of your designs - they're brill and at least half the reason I buy the mag!

Mary Boydie - 2006-04-01 02:26:10

Just started the Luckenbooth, which I think is absolutely lovely! Have to agree with the previous comments - Knitting is just not the same without you and that Duprinoux's scarf is simply a joke!

Katie Winner - 2006-03-29 16:45:56

Please tell us that you've not stopped working for Knitting mag - this last one was RUBBISH without you. MORE LIKE LUCKYBOOTH PLEASE!

Jane Parker - 2006-02-01 03:45:28

Loved the article and I've just about finished knitting the mitts - brill! I'll be keeping my eye out for your next designs!

Angie Dayson - 2006-01-28 15:19:33

Always a pleasure to see your work - you are probably the most talked about designer in our little knitting circle down here in Cornwall, so it's lovely to have a bit more of an insight! Please do keep them coming.

Jenny Fadden - 2006-01-17 00:28:32

hey- COOL MITTS! just luv them soooo much. must make them for valantines day for me and my fella! excellent judy- just brill!

Maggie Southall - 2006-01-14 00:35:47

Lovely designs Judy; looking forward to another years worth from you - I love Knitting mag, but its even more worthwhile when you have stuff in it!

Linda Bourice - 2006-01-13 20:07:17

What an amazing collection of designs - quite breathtaking - and I adore the tartans too.

Every time I see your patterns I want to make them - but so far I've only takled a couple for myself, but my granddaughter has put in her order for Slalom, so Granny's going to be busy with her needles!

Susan Macavennie - 2006-01-13 00:36:09

I just love your latest design in Knitting-cant wait to get started on it-its just simply gorgeous!

Helga Belsome - 2006-01-12 00:11:34

I saw you featured in Knitting and just HAD to have a look. WOW!!!!! What a busy lady! Fantastic! Always my favorite designer in the magazine, but I'd NO IDEA you do so much else too!!! Just love your stuff.

Maddy Dunbar - 2006-01-11 01:32:48

And a Happy New Year to you Judy! A lovely site and a welcome link to the old country for a Canadian ex-pat. Loved the article in Knitting (I have my sister send it out to me here) and how I envy you your west coast sunsets.
