an extensive collective of skills and professions make up the Project Group and

Parish Council: they have supported
the project financially and are keen to see the development succeed.
They are also a user of the current Village Hall.

Community Association - Assist in
developing the community and management of community projects. Delivery of the
Rural Runabout – rural transportation.

Conservation Group: this group has 460
annual subscription paid members and aims to ensure that any development of the
village is in keeping with the village feel and the needs of local people. The
Group are supporting the project with assistance, communications and finance

County Council: The land for the
project is owned by the County Council and they have committed to transferring
it through a Community Asset Transfer on a freehold basis.
· Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council: they have supported us in getting the site designated for community use in the Local Plan
· Social Care and Health: Providing support for the elderly population within the rural area and are investing in the Extra Care development and supporting services within the community

Community
and Learning Partnership: Provision of
a Children’s Centre, support services for the rural area, youth services,
library services and extended schools services within the centre

LSP: strategic support for the project

Staffordshire
Community Council: expertise in
service development and project support. They
also employ the Village Agent whose role is to develop the Village Plan and
assist the surrounding rural communities in prioritising their needs

Madeley
Scout Group: partners in this venture, consisting of 60 children ranging from 6
years to 18 years old

Madeley
First Responders: they support the
paramedics in emergency healthcare situations, the new Centre will provide a
meeting place for them and will allow them to provide a better service to the
whole community.

Madeley
High School: a sub-committee works with some young people from the High School
involving them in developing their ideas around what young people may want in
the Centre and generally within the community. They designed the project logo.

Post Office: delivery of services

Staffordshire
Police: positive commitment to the project with a Police Post being an
integral part of the development

Eternit: The largest local employer,
they have offered to support the project in a number of ways including the
provision of innovative ecological construction materials
