1)                 Games will last 10 minutes

2)                 No player can consecutively play more than 2 minutes

3)                 Every team member must play at least 1 minute

4)                 Goals are scored when the lemon passes between the legs of the chair.

5)                 If the lemon goes behind the chair, then the leader is the only person who can put it back in play.

6)                 Any player receiving a red card will not be allowed to rejoin that game.

7)                 Any deliberate 'splatting' of the lemon, will be penalised by a forfeit of 5 goals and an immediate red card.

8)                 Any excessive abuse of the lemon , will be penalised by a free hit.

9)                 Any kicking of the lemon, will result in a penalty, with no goalkeeper. This also results in a lemon card.

10)            Lemon and red cards can be issued at the discretion of the referee.

11)            Two lemon cards in a match, results in a red card and immediate dismissal.

12)            Four lemon or 2 red cards will result in a one match ban.

13)            Any verbal abuse of the referee will result in a red card. (Followed by a quick kick up the jacksey).  

14)     Only one hand is allowed on the hockey stick.

15)            Three points are awarded for a win, 1 for a draw.  

Equipment needed

        2 chairs (the plastic ones with Metal legs or something similar) placed at each end of the room

        2 Hockey sticks made from rolled up newspapers, the broadsheets are the best. These must be sealed with parcel tape.

        As many lemons as possible to survive an evening of Lemon Hockey. One per game plus a spare.
