Workshop: Mosaics in Fabric
Two Days

Learn to fragment an image or design and work a Mosaic in bonded applique.
Students are encouraged to bring their own inspiration to develop the technique after learning the basics. Landscapes, still life, flora and fauna all provide a good starting point.
The worksop features techniques used in my 'Barcelona', 'Prague' and Verulamium quilts.

Day One: Work a small sample to understand scale and technique, paint silk to use and resolve a larger design.

Day Two: Bonding and stitching the design. Presentation and finishing methods will be discussed.
