- Let as much light in as you can. The more light a room has, the more space it appears to have.
- Use mirrors and shiny surfaces to make the most of the light you have.
- ‘Warm colours advance and cold colours recede’ - so use reds and yellows to cosy up or blues and greens to make spaces feel larger.
- Avoid clutter by ensuring you always have enough storage - and tidy up!
- Always check samples (paint & fabric) in the room itself, they will look very different in a showroom.
