Beef.

At the farm we raise a few Devon Reds - a traditional local beef breed. Our main aim is to produce great tasting meat in as natural and animal friendly way as we can.

As we aren't full time butchers and only stock our own produce, our supply is not endless and for practical reasons we freeze it all. We have a good selection of prime cuts in stock most of the time. Our meat is not as cheap as supermarket meat but it is competitively priced.

We believe that animals that have led stress free lives produce the very best meat. Our cattle are simply and naturally reared and grass fed. They enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the valley; fresh Devon air and spring water from the stream.

Our beef is hung for at least three weeks - a must to produce the best flavour and to get tender and succulent meat. It is also vacuum packed to seal in the freshness. All our packs are professionally labelled with the contents, weight and price clearly shown and conform to all the current trading standards.

If you think you might like to take home some 'best beef' from our freezers - bring a cool box if you have one. We will be happy to freeze your ice packs for you.

Alternatively, we supply insulated polystyrene boxes, which we know from experience work fantastically well. A large 12Kg box costs £2.10 and a small 6Kg one £1.70.
