West Colwell is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The views from the farm are of wooded countryside as far as the eye can see.

The farm is a haven of peace and quiet. On cloudless nights the stars shine bright because we have so little light pollution. The only sounds that might disturb your peaceful sleep are hooting owls, the occasional barking fox and shuffling badgers.

There are three double bedrooms. Each  has its own spacious shower bathroom. Constant hot water and full central heating make for a comfortable stay at any time of year, whatever the weather.

From time to time we raise a few Devon Reds - a traditional local beef breed.

In 2010 we installed a 16 panel photovoltaic system on one of the barns. We wanted to reduce the carbon footprint of the farm and it is also our aim to generate more than half of all our electricity needs.
