Small Animal BoardingI can board rabbits, guinea pigs and small caged pets at
my home.
I have one 'executive' outdoor hutch with attached run (for warmer months
only), two 5ftx2ftx2ft high indoor hutches to accommodate very large rabbits
and four 5ftx2ftx18"high indoor hutches for small to medium sized
rabbits & guinea pigs. I also have a couple of smaller indoor
hutches and some large indoor cages. The indoor hutches are housed
within a converted garage with access from my home. Outdoor access is provided in the warmer months in secure runs
on a rota basis. All other pets are boarded in their own cages. I provide wood-shavings, hay and vegetables but you will
be required to provide dry food, treats and any other essential items.
All hutches are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between boarders and
outdoor runs are moved every day and also between boarders.
Boarding Prices: NB: There is a £10 non-refundable deposit to book a hutch/cage. *** Collection and drop off
service *** Terms & Conditions of Small Animal Boarding When pets are looked after by Westhill Pet Services they will receive every care and attention but they are looked after entirely at the risk of the owner, and we cannot accept liability for any accident, illness or death. Should any animal fall ill whilst under our care we reserve the right to call in a veterinary surgeon and act on their advice. The owner on their return will meet any expense incurred. The building used for rabbits & guinea pigs is unheated and can get quite cold from November to April so may be unsuitable for some guinea pigs during this period. Any guinea pigs boarded during this time are boarded entirely at the risk of the owner and we cannot accept liability for illness or death as a result. We are covered with Public Liability, Care Custody Control and Loss of keys insurance and have been police checked for Disclosure Scotland to enhanced level. All animals must be provided with enough dry food to last the period of boarding and pet sitting. All rabbits boarded at my home must be vaccinated for Myxomatosis and VHD at least two weeks before boarding and a certificate must be provided as proof. If proof cannot be provided I will be unable to look after them. In the interest of other boarders and my own pets, any pet suffering from any infection or contagious disease will not be accepted for boarding. Any belongings left on my premises are left at the owner's own risk. All boarding fees are payable on arrival or in advance - no pets boarded may be removed until the full amount has been paid. Unless previously advised, owners who fail to collect their boarded pets within a period of 7 days after the specified collection date will be deemed as unwanted pets and re-homed.
