 Another who has comeback after a couple of seasons stateside. Jim is the second team keeper and right-hand bat. He is the father of Neil and Lee and they have provided a much needed personnel boost to the playing members.

 Lee is the youngest Merrick and is showing excellent promise as a right hand bat. He recently scored 70 + in a second team league game. Still needs to make a decision on his other role, but he has the makings of an off-break bowler should he choose to do it.

 The elder of Jim’s boys, Neil bowls seam up and has adopted a cavalier style of batting which can prove very effective in the right context. Is definitely part of the club’s future.
