I am an experienced tutor offering tuition in KS3, GCSE and A level maths. I provide tuition at the pupil's home and charge £25/hr. Please see my timetable below for available slots.
I have recently finished a political theory masters at UCL and am currently embarking on the early stages of a career in political research.
I have achieved the highest grade in maths at GCSE, A Level and as part of my degree. Throughout my studies I have pursued a keen academic interest in the application of maths to the real world . During my four years at university I have taken courses in mathematical logic and microeconomics and have submitted a paper on the application of mathematical systems to political decision-making.
I have enjoyed working as a maths tutor for the last two years. I have found that my friendly, energetic but determined approach to tuition provides a relaxed atmosphere in which to develop the pupil's self-confidence in maths whilst ensuring that the subject matter is covered thoroughly.
This approach has brought success to the extent that only once in a busy two years of maths tuition has one of my pupils failed to achieve their target grade or higher.
I
cycle to the pupil's
homes and prefer to provide
maths tuition only within the
west London area
designated
above. Longer distances may be
negotiated but they effect my
ability to
schedule
multiple tuition sessions.
