The Infinite Regress - an introduction

In 1995 I decided if I was going to be a grumpy teenager, I might as well learn the guitar to take the edge off the angst. By about 1997 I attempted to write songs, but they were all rubbish because I had no musical influence or inspiration, so I started listening to music like a trojan. At the end of 1997 I had come up with a few songs and had a go at recording them on a busted up tape recorder. There were four songs, and I then at the start of 1998 I recorded my attempt at a full album, incorporating the four that were on the original "ep".

So it went on from there. From 1998 to 2001 eleven albums have been completed.
In 2001 I finished Pale Marble Movie - recorded on digital multitrack and mastered to MD.
2004 saw the completion of a major concept project entitled "Understudy", which was recorded on PC via digital multitrack, and included a 15 minute long instrumental track in 5/4 time.
