20/20 MATCH
WG 150-6, WOOTON 124-6. WG WIN BY 26 RUNS
BAILEY BATTERS WITH BAT
Impossible to keep quiet all tour, Oliie Bailey shone with the bat after his bowling performance of the previous day. His 66 propelled WG to 150 off 20 overs and ensured victory against a gallant Wooton who despite getting to within 26 were never in the hunt. Ably assisted by Healey, who had to join the injured list after his old legs were unable to take the strain of so many quick singles, he was eventually caught on the boundary off a no-ball that wasn't signalled by Rasberry Ripple Atkinson. Stars of the bowling attack was tour organiser Krizo with two wickets and one armed Lee who bowled his four overs for just 10 runs.
Hot dogs were partaken in the pub and relations between the teams were cordial. Liverpool lost the Champions League final.
