About the Park |
We are a small, family run (third generation!) Park with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Originally set up in the mid 1950's, we have been here ever since offering a warm welcome to all our visitors past, present and in the future.
There are 85 holiday homes on the Park, set out in a random fashion (no rows!) All homes are privately owned (no subletting is allowed), and are sited on individual plots which all have full services of electricity, water and drainage. Plot sizes vary, but we endeavor to cater for 37' x 12' holiday homes where-ever possible.
A mixture of fruit trees, mainly damson, and larger deciduous varieties such as oak, cherry, sweet chestnut and ash are growing through the Park, with more natural woodland surrounding on all sides. There is a steep rough fell behind the Park. Wildlife is abundant, with rabbits, squirrels, foxes and Roe and Red deer all visitors to the Park. Badgers have also been seen, but you need to be up early to catch them! Colour around the Park is almost year-round, including snowdrops, daffodils, bluebells, damson blossom, azaleas, buddleja and montbretia scattered both on and around the Park.
