Details Whilst on a routine training exercise, the lifeboat was diverted to a capsized sailing dinghy with two people in the water half a mile NW of Whitstable Harbour. The dinghy's mast had become stuck in the seabed, and the rudder had become unshipped. The lifeboat crew freed the mast, righted the craft, and escorted it back to the beach at Whitstable Yacht Club.
