Wildlife Rescue was formed 22 years ago by Phil Groombridge.It started out with just one person rescuring animals, then two. Now we have 4 volunteers that help
at the wildlife care centre, in Winterslow just outside of Salisbury in Wiltshire.
Tony Green and Richard now do all the rescues, and Phil looks after the care centre, and treats the animals.
Jill Carey runs our Wildlife Helpline giving out information about rescue centres all over the UK. We have 2 emergency ambulances that are on 24/7.
Our Care centre has around 19 animals in at the moment. Some of the animals can never be released,
and are kept by us to take to schools for talks, so the children of today can learn and see the wildlife for them selves.
