Animal Care

We try to care for all the injured & stressed animals that come to our care centre

Vets are on call, if needed.   24/7 care all year round.

New pens are built to accommodate the animals.

All the staff are volunteers.

Focus On Patients

This lovely bird of prey, had its leg damaged, and could not stand or feed itself, after treatment it regained its appetite and is now standing up, in about 3 weeks if everything goes ok it will be released where it was found.

Emergency care
4 day old roe deer
This lovely baby roe deer was picked up by people
out walking their dogs, they saw it lying in the grass
And picked it up and took it home, then called us.
They should never had picked it up as the roe deer
Mothers leave there young for some time.
The young stay still in long grass or woods,
So they wont be found, but dogs find them.

We looked after this young deer, and only 2 people
fed and looked after it.
It has now been released in a controlled  deer herd.

REPORT 1st Nov 2009

The deer blended into the herd very well
And is looking good.

This will be the last report  on our deer,
good luck my friend.
