Second skin........ isn't actually a new album, it's a new recording of our first album "By the skin of our teeth". We'd run out of copies of the original and so we re-recorded the album and added an extra track "Mr O'Malley" It's all acoustic as was the original, but we've changed some of the arrangements to reflect how we now sing the songs live.

...is out now You can order copies from this site, just click on the album cover above. If you go to the music page, you can listen to a couple of clips and view the lyrics. It will take a little while longer to get the iTunes downloads sorted, but we will be letting everyone know as soon it's available for download. As with the previous three all of the songs are originals written by Dave, with the exception of one track "Two million soldiers" which is based on a great poem written by Chris Watson. There are fourteen tracks in all, the lyrics are included in the sleeve notes.
The songs are............
I Wish I could turn back time
Watermelon Karen
I'll never get to heaven
Metagama (look at me now)
Two million soldiers
I never intended running away
Cobwebs on the windows
Jilly
September in a seaside town
Tell my mother I'll not be gone long
These are the things
Don't ask me why
Thank the Lord I'm an atheist
Middle England to the Middle East

Vin Garbutt's latest CD "Persona...Grata" has Vin's version of "Storm Around Tumbledown" and very nice it is too. The album release early in October is classic Garbutt, many of the tracks recorded live and as you'd expect powerful songs delivered with passion. Follow this link for details on Vin's website.
