Even when we are clear on what we want from our lives, external events can easily knock us off balance when we least expect it.  The passage of coaching is unlikely to be a straight-line journey either.  This being the case, in addition to allowing you to develop new insights, options and skills, coaching will provide you with the support you need to make the changes you want, especially when the going gets tough.  Numerous studies confirm that the ability to “get back in the saddle” when knocked off is a major factor in determining how successful we become in our lives, and coaching is there to support you do this, should the need arise.

Even after we have identified existing unhelpful strategies, it can sometimes be tempting to revert to old ways if new actions do not immediately provide success.  There is much truth in the phrase ‘old habits die hard’.  Trying new ways and ideas is therefore not always easy and it is one of the reasons why many people never actually reach their full potential.  However, special coaching techniques can assist in the removal of bad habits far more quickly and effectively than you might expect.
