In addition to Personal & Business coaching, Wisdom Coaching also offers a range of workshops designed specifically for secondary schools.  Focused on techniques to generate confidence and effectiveness in the classroom, programmes include workshops for NQTs, Cover Supervisors and Trainee Teachers on employment based training programmes.

Workshop content is tailored to the needs of individual schools; however a typical half day workshop might cover the following:

• How to create the first impression you want
• Leading the classroom with confidence
• How to communicate effectively and avoid confrontation
• The power of pro-activity in the classroom
• Using voice to influence
• How to build the mindset of an effective teacher/classroom supervisor

Workshops can work as stand-alone training but it is suggested that each participant is offered an observation and feedback session within a half term period, thus embedding the new skills acquired and raising any further issues that may need addressing.

Workshops are run for a maximum of 10 participants.  The rate for a ½ day (3 hour) workshop is £249.  Significant discounts are available for observation & feedback sessions when they are booked at the same time as a workshop.  (see fees page)
