Are you able
to help?
During the autumn/winter months the NOAH Soup
Kitchen will continue each evening to provide
support and a much needed meal to the homeless
people of Luton. In December it is anticipated
that the Nightshelter will also be open. In order
to continue to provide these much needed services
we require more volunteers for
· The soup kitchen 6.30 - 8.00pm,
· The day room at NOAH 8.00-10.00pm
· Overnight cover at the Nightshelter
If you are interested in volunteering for one of
the above or require more information please e
mail juliebriggs@stmarysluton.org or telephone
Julie on 01582 721867
Servers at
the Altar . If you would like to offer for this

Centre. Drop in for coffee, stay for a chat, meet
or bring a friend or just rest your feet. All
ages welcome.
Prayer
requests: Do remember that there is a book for
prayer requests on the lectern in the Lady Chapel.
Any prayers written there will be prayed during
our daily prayers.
General
Villager and
Website: Please remember that these vital areas
of communication can only tell others what we
tell them.
Steven Standering would welcome articles for The
Villager.
Les Thompson would be delighted to have dates,
photos, news and suggestions for the All Saints
Website.
See the Contacts Page for contact details.
At the back
of church are two books- one for any prayer
requests to be included in our daily personal
prayers and another to record YOUR favourite hymn.
The hymn requests will help as the music team
plan the hymns and music for the next few months.
English
Heritage require that, having received financial
assistance for our repair work, we keep the
church open for a certain number of hours.
Visitors should contact the priest in charge or a churchwarden to arrange a visit.
Regular
Giving. There are leaflets at the back
of church explaining where our giving goes.
Parish Share for Parish Ministry. This explains
how the money is allocated. Please take a leaflet.
Remember our church building costs £800 per week
to run. Please consider giving regularly via
envelopes or standing order. Contact Peter Graham (738470) for details.
Regular
Giving Envelopes
The Regular
Giving Envelopes for 2012 are now available. If
you do not yet use this method of giving please
consider it as it helps provide the church with a
REGULAR income as an envelope is provided for
each Sunday of the year. If you don't yet have a
set they are available from Peter Graham (738470)
but Ruth or a churchwarden will always pass your
name on. There are leaflets at the back of church
explaining how the scheme works. Setting up a
Standing Order is an even better way of giving
regularly - again contact me, Peter Graham, for details.
If you only
give occasionally-please use the white envelopes
provided in the pews which will enable us to
claim back the tax on that individual gift. If
you pay tax please Gift Aid your money.
Speak to Ruth (731692)
or to Peter Graham (738470), or see below.
