My Photo Gallery of Caddington

A picture of the third bell in All Saints Church, Caddington. (The discolouration[spelling?] is due to lack of care when scanning, so I might rescan it sometime.)

The tree hiding the south door held its leaves very late in 2000. This was taken in November!

The War Memorial in the graveyard of All Saints Church.

This view across the Green looks along Dunstable Road to the right and Manor Road to the centre left. There are closer pictires of the shops on the businesses page. The other roads visible in this picture are Chaul End road emerging from the extreme right, Hyde Road from the left in the foreground, and Luton Road as the tarmac from the Chaul End Road junction to behind the viewer.

Just in case we forget where we are, we have an aid provided. There used to be an addition mentioning that we were twinned to Oststeinbek in Germany, but I think it amused the vandals just once too often.

A petty picture taken along Folly Lane during the snow which followed Christmas 2000.

View across the green from the corner of Manor Road and Dunstable Road, while the snow is relatively fresh. The extreme left of the picture shows the pub. To the right of it is Tower House, named after the water tower which isn't there any more! To the right of that are two lines of houses that form Meadow Way.
Some later photos added in 2003:

The Roman Catholic church of St Joseph the Apostle in Manor Road (next to the recreation club).

Aley Green methodist Chapel.
