The light blue column to the left is the average from 1993 to 2003.

The lower white bar shows the minimum rainfall in that month since 1993. (August has been completely dry.)
The higher white bar shows the maximum rainfall in that month since 1993.

Comparisons

January has started the year about average. The trend has continued from February to include May, June and July (which were slightly drier). August was rather damp (I had a holiday in Devon!), whilst September was drier than I remembered. October has been very wet (until 2000 the upper limit for October was 126 ml - see the 2000 page). November returned to the slightly drier tendency of March to July. December was particularly dry.
