Comparisons
"The morning of the 6th January saw the temperature fall to -5.9C, lowest temperature since Dec 2000. January was the coldest month since 1997 according to my records" (Slip End Weather Data). February wasn't too remarkable. March seemed quite warm, beating Spain at times! April had very even temperatures throught the month (hardly any frosts). May was fairly average except for a relatively high minimum for the month (like April). June came out with about average figures.Two hot days at the start of July boosted the maximum temp to be "respectable", but otherwise temperatures were relatively even. August was only remarkable due to having no particularly hot day. Similarly, September had no particularly cold day.
