The Interesting UK Number Plate Page.

This page shows some number plates that make interesting reading for one reason or another. Some of the effects are obtained by using rivets of a different colour to the part of the plate they penetrate. Other effects are achieved by spacing the letters and digits in an illegal manner or using illegal styles.

There are a variety of web sites that will produce plates in a huge number of styles, but they normally make it clear that they are illegal on the UK roads!

Some time in the future I will put some relevant links in here, but this is your lot for now!

The plates are in three groups Probably Illegal, Iffy and Just plain interesting.

I've now added a new group. As the MOT comes round, the cars are probably failing. The plates are being remade with "more legal" fonts. The new group is "Remade".
