What To Expect

Classes  are studious and set at a level  so that all those present take as much as possible away. The
atmosphere is relaxed and light hearted but strict
etiquette is followed .

You will learn :-

HOW TO FALL SAFELY
HOW TO STAND & SIT IN GOOD POSTURE
HOW TO RELAX
SELF-DEFENCE

What To Wear

Any loose fitting long sleeved top and trousers without protruding fasteners .No footwear is worn on the mat  so please ensure that feet are clean.
Once established a white judo or karate should be worn which can be purchased through the club.

Who can come

Anyone who is interested in learning a martial art either to keep fit, learn self-defence ,or just for fun
Aikido is based on circular and direct movements to achieve maximum effect with minimum effort .This means that men/women , young/old ,fit/unfit can all practice together There are no competitions in Aikido which allows you to learn at your own pace. We practice Aikido to improve ourselves not to beat others.
