due to low patronage. The timetable of 47 (Halfkey Road - Great
Malvern, TThS) was amended and a minor curtailment of route took
place at Duke of Edinburgh Way from 20 October 1997.

Alcester and Redditch.

Hill and Uckington but certain journeys via Stoke Orchard, Tredington
and Bishop's Cleeve. The extensions to Tewkesbury replace
Cresswell's additional journeys on 545, and the Stoke Orchard
journeys replace journeys on the Tewkesbury - Cheltenham service.
One MTTh journey follows a most convoluted routeing, covering the 547
route after leaving Tewkesbury and running via Northway, Ashchurch
and Aston Cross, then double-running to Kinsham and Bredon before
continuing to Cheltenham via Bishop's Cleeve. One Saturday
journey inward to Evesham diverts via Ashton-under-Hill village to
replace part of Midland Red West 539.
