Groundbreakers is a Friday Night club for 7 - 11's. It is a brilliant mix of games, craft, tuck, worship songs and bible based DVD's. The club runs from 6.00pm until 7.15pm.
Desert Detectives follows Groundbreakers where the children who want to dig deeper into some Bible stories can stay until 7.50pm.

Toddler Groups
WOMBATS meet on Tuesday mornings from 10.00am - 11.30am and BADGERS on Thursday afternoons from 1.30pm - 3.00pm during school term time.
The groups give the opportunity for Mums, Dads, Grandparents and carers to sit down and have a chat, while their children enjoy themselves.
There is a fee of £1 payable on arrival. The children are able to play with a good variety of toys and equipment, including a sandpit, climbing frame and soft blocks. Each week craft activities are organised. There is story & singing as well as birthday celebrations.

Child Protection
Children and young people are a high priority at WBC. We aim as a church to provide young people with opportunities to develop and discover God in ways that are interesting and relevant to them.
Who works with children and young people?
Children and young peoples' workers are volunteers, usually part of the life of the church. All volunteers have a heart to see children and young people grow and develop to their full potential within the confines of a safe and nurturing environment.
Child Protection
The church takes seriously its responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children. We operate a Child Protection Policy that is displayed in the church building and is available on request. The policy commits us to the protection of children and young people who use the building , and to care in the appointment, training and supervision of all children.
All volunteers who work with children and young people have been CRB checked and have been deemed by the leadership to be suitable to work with children and young people who are church members or those from our open youth groups on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings.
