Glossary
A glossary of terms and definitions, listed in alphabetical order, which you may come accross on this site.
Ecosystem = A community of organisms which survive in an environment and interact together and also with the environment which surrounds them, such as a forest or lake.
Habitat = An area with a specific kind of environment where a particular organism lives, for example a beaver would live in a wooded area close to water.
Organism= Any living creature, could be anything from microbes to complex multi celled creatures such as humans.
