CURRENT CLUB NEWS.

The start of the 2002-2003 season sees us playing in the Premier Division of the Southend League. We started our season with a home fixture against Southend Manor and got off to the best possible start with a deserved 6-3 victory. Once again Matty Bowden and Laurie Turner head the goal scoring stakes with two goals each.

During the close season we have had three players leave the club, but we have been fortunate enough to have had two new players join the club, who will once again ensure that the battle for starting places on a Sunday morning remains high.

Once again during the close season the boys have been training twice a week which has seen their fitness levels sustained, which hopefully once again will serve the boys well during the forth coming campaign.
