Steve Martyn shown 2nd from right alongside Joe Brown and the Bruvvers line up.
Midlands music master Steve Martyn is threatening to make the juke-box extinct by keeping the spirit of the 60's alive! His scintillating act takes the public on a tour down memory lane to a time when rock n' roll was the new religion. His nightly mission is to revive recollections of those halcyon days with a blend of skill and experience.
An all round musician, he creates his own pre-recorded backing music in his private studio, replicating a full live band sound. On stage he overlays with his own lead vocals and electric guitar to crown a lively show.
This act has a terrific pedigree and among his impressive CV is the fact that Steve Martyn is formerly the bass player with '60s icon Joe Brown & The Bruvvers. For this was the first time Joe Brown had put together a permanent band line up. They did extensive tours of the UK and Europe, and making further radio and television appearances. Steve Martyn features playing bass guitar and vocals on Joe Brown's album "Come On Joe".
Steve Martyn has played at some of the world’s top venues alongside the likes of The Searchers, The Fortunes, Dave Berry, Cliff Bennett, The Tremeloes, Marty Wilde, Alvin Stardust, Chaz & Dave, Bert Weedon, Chubby Brown, Cannon and Ball (to name but a few).
