The fun run event is a 1.5 mile race through the village and is fully marshalled. The course is run mainly on paths and cycle tracks, however, the start will be on roads and even though traffic will be stopped please be aware. The event is mainly run by children and the prize categories reflect this, however we welcome any adults to join in the race also.
The race will start at 6.15 pm from the Rutten Lane playing field, where it will also finish. For a map and directions go to the Directions page or click here. The race may be delayed a few minutes to ensure all the marshals are in their positions.

Please write your name, any pertinent medical information and a contact telephone number on the reverse of your running number, this is needed to comply with new UK Athletic rules, effective from January 2006.
The main prizes will be awarded around 8.15 pm and the first three boys and girls in each category will receive prizes. The age categories are under 8's, under 11's and under 15's and all three are split into boys and girls categories.
Facilities for ladies to change will be in the football pavilion in the playing field where the finish is located and men will have use of the British Legion where the race HQ is located.
