Yarnton 5 Race Information

The Yarnton 5 is a five mile road race around Yarnton and the surrounding area. The course is split into two sections. The first two and a half miles will be on track, private road or cycle track. The second half of the race will be mainly on quiet roads, which will be open to traffic. The course is fairly flat and therefore some fast times can be achieved.

The race is due to start at 7.00 pm from the Rutten Lane playing field, for a map and directions go to the Directions page or click here. The race may be delayed a few minutes to ensure all fun runners are back and that all the marshals are in their positions.

There is a water station at the finish and the results are announced in the british legion next to the playing field so drinks are available if you need something stronger!

Please Note: At the half way point, after a sharp right hand turn, you will be crossed to the left hand side of a quite busy road. Please stay alert to traffic and then remain on the left hand side of the road all the way to the finish.

To enter the race you must be 15 or over on the day of the race.

Interested in entering? Go to the Enter Race page for an Entry Form.
