My name is Reverend Margaret Rimmer and I am Vicar of the Benefice. I have been Incumbent here for just over two years, prior to which I was a Curate in the Dales. Before moving to the Dales I spent two years at Cranmer Hall, St John’s College, Durham, training for Ministry.
Before entering Ordained ministry I worked as a Staff Nurse, both in hostpitals and a hospice.
Married to John, we have three grown up children, and before moving to Yorkshire we lived in Lancashire. We lived in the village of Tarleton in the same house for twenty three years, for both of us that was within three miles of where we were born and brought up.
We have always lived in villages, in rural communities very similar to where we are now.
Welcome to our Benefice, we hope you will come and visit, enjoy the peace and beauty of the area around us here, and perhaps join us for worship in one of our lovely Churches. We have a variety of services here, from the traditional Book of Common Prayer to the very lively Parish Praise, as well as our Common Worship services.
