Here's a different one! Marg Morse has sent in this extract from a will dated 1758.

The full script reads:

"... I give and bequeath unto my Mother
Mary Hudman of the Parish of PLACENAME in the County of Southampton
... Sum of four pounds to be paid her in a year after my Decease..."

and the part that Marg cannot understand looks like this:
