New Internet Address for Our Website
From 16th September there has been an alternative place to look at the YCBA website.
My broadband service includes enough free webspace to host the YCBA pages, so I've uploaded them onto the Tiscali server.
The URL is http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/yorkshirebridge
Please add this to your list of "Favourites" or "Bookmarks" (Safari users) and check it out.
I have tested it myself, but would be grateful if Yorkshire members could let me know of any faults they discover.
It should look exactly the same as the old site - which, by the way, will remain active for the time being.
I will maintain the two sites in parallel until sure that the new one is free of defects.
The old website was set up on a dial-up connection and can only be updated via a landline.
The new setup, if successful, should give me greater flexibility, at no cost to YCBA.
N.B. From 12th to 25th October I shall be out of the country and unable to update the Freeserve site.
However, I hope the new arrangement will allow me to update the Tiscali site.
