RECENT UPDATES:

May '06

Updated the Song Vote section of the website with the submissions I have received since the last update.

Uncut magazine has quite a good article on the Roses this Month and as ever asks the question will the Roses ever reform? Its a question that I sure want an answer to but its all up to Ian to be honest. I have heard from someone who was on the inside that he thinks it will happen soon. Just one more tour guys, huh? ;)

March/April '06

Footage of Made of Stone recorded live in the Brixton Academy December 95, now added to the Roses Live section. Also I've added in the song votes that I've received since the last update.

A minor update to the Where are they Now section of the site with more up to date info

Ian Brown, Aberdeen Exhibition Center 11/02/06

I saw Ian at the above gig last week and it was Stone Roses heaven for me. Ian opened the set with Elizabeth my Dear, followed by I Wanna be Adored, Made of Stone and Waterfall. Also during his encore he did She Bangs the Drums.

To open the gig with 4 Stone Roses tracks was amazing and to hear the crowd sing along was quite an emotional moment. Steve (Ex-Fools Gold guitarist) played the songs to perfection. Bar John Squire himself I don't think Ian could have had a better guitarist at his side. Ian was also vocally on top form and it was not hard to see how much he was enjoying the gig. I have never seen him so active on stage! A fantastic night, a fantastic performance, a fantastic crowd, a fantastic night.

Planned Future Updates

I am planning to add more streaming video files and audio tracks to the website. Also later in the year I am giving the whole website a facelift as its looking rather dated when compared to a lot of sites on the internet now. More importantly the site has been written using something called 'Frames'. These allow the menu to stay in place no matter what page you are looking at. Its a great system, but it means that when it comes to listing the website in the search engines they are unable to index the site correctly resulting in much less visitors. .s.

Hope you enjoy the site.

Craig.
