McGlone: Community shocked at
Castledawson murder
SDLP Mid Ulster MLA Patsy McGlone has said
the murder of a man in Castledawson has sent shockwaves through the local
community.
Speaking from the scene, he said: “This is a quiet small rural town and
people in Castledawson are extremely shocked that this murder has taken
place in their midst.
“Nobody has the right to take life and we certainly do not want this kind of
brutal violence in our community.
“I would urge anyone with information about this murder to cooperate with
the police so that those responsible can be brought to justice.”
