McGlone MLA has said that Ireland’s Agri-food industry must form a critical
element of the Brexit negotiations.
Speaking after the first day of Brexit
negotiations, Mr McGlone said: “Ireland’s agri-food industry is a critical
economic driver, not just in the North but across the island. The influence
of the European Union and the flow of agricultural subsidies has been key to
the success of farming and rural communities.
“It’s therefore vital that our agri-food
industry is protected and promoted as part of the Brexit negotiations and
