MCGLONE SADNESS AT ROAD DEATH

SDLP Mid-Ulster MLA Patsy McGlone has expressed his deep sadness at the death of an 18-year-old man in a car crash on the Magherafelt Road in Moneymore.

He said: “My heart goes out to the family and friends of this 18-year-old boy. This is a tragic accident that has caused deep shock and deep sadness among the local community. For our roads to claim the life of someone so young like this is just heartbreaking.

“My deepest sympathies are with the family at this very sad time and unfortunately this latest road death highlights the dangers of our roads for all road users. I would urge everyone to take extra care on our roads.”
