MCGLONE USES WEB TO HELP PEOPLE BUST RECESSION

SDLP Mid-Ulster MLA Patsy McGlone is using online communications to help people through the credit crunch.

Mr McGlone said: “My website www.patsymcglone.com guides people in the right direction to attain expert advice and help though the credit crunch with handy links to agencies such as the citizens advice bureau and HMRC to enable people to assess their tax credit entitlements.

“It also has benefits calculator to so individuals can assess what benefits they are entitled to and an ‘A2B calculator’ to help people manage their outgoings.

“A lot of people are having a very tough time at the moment dealing with mounting debt and unemployment and I feel it is crucially important to let them know that help is at hand at the touch of a button.”
